Red Velvet Donuts

Makes 20 donuts

 

These decadent red velvet cupcakes make a beautiful dessert and quite the statement!

INGREDIENTS

PAM Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
1 pkg (15.25 oz each) DUNCAN HINES Signature Red Velvet Cake Mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup whole milk
1 cup DUNCAN HINES Classic Vanilla or Chocolate Creamy Home-Style Frosting
Assorted sprinkles

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray donut pan with cooking spray.

2.Combine cake mix, eggs, butter, and milk in large bowl and whisk until smooth.

3.Spoon mixture into a piping bag, or a zippered plastic bag, with the corner cut off.

4.Pipe into donut pan (don’t overfill!). Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

5.Remove from pan immediately and cool completely on wire rack.

6.To frost, heat frosting in microwave 15 seconds (feel free to add a little milk or water for different consistencies). Dip top of donuts in frosting and decorate with sprinkles.
