Hamburger Cupcakes

Makes 12 Cupcakes

Liven up the party with these tasty burger treats

 

INGREDIENTS

1 package PILLSBURY Family Size Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare brownie mix per package instructions
Non-stick cooking spray
1 package PILLSBURY Moist Supreme Yellow Premium Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per package instructions
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
2/3 cup sweetened coconut flakes
7 to 10 drops green food color

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions using oil, water and egg. Bake in 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Cool completely.

2.Coat 12 muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray. Dust with flour.

3.Prepare cake mix according to package instructions using water, oil and eggs. Fill prepared muffin cups 2/3 full. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake according to package instructions for cupcakes. Cool completely. (Remaining batter may be baked as an 8 or 9-inch single layer cake or 12 cupcakes according to package instructions.)

4.Place coconut in resalable plastic bag. Add 7 drops food color. Seal bag and shake to tint evenly. Add additional food color, if necessary, to achieve desired shade of green.

5.Split cupcakes in half horizontally with serrated knife. Cut out 12 circles from brownies using 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.

6.Microwave red and yellow frostings in two separate heavy-duty resalable plastic bags 10 to 15 seconds or until slightly softened. Cut very small corner off bags. Drizzle frostings over bottom halves of cupcakes. Top with brownies. Sprinkle evenly with coconut. Drizzle remaining red and yellow frosting over coconut in a zigzag pattern, moving from edge to edge. Top with top halves of cupcakes.
